Free Exercises To Help Tone Your Body


Whilst eating a healthy diet helps us loose weight, we must not forget that exercise is vitally important, as well as making sure that we tone our bodies as well.

If you follow this fun and simple toning plan for approximately 6 weeks, you will see a great difference. All these exercises can be done in the privacy of your own home and you don’t need any special equipment.

I’ll start by sharing with you 2 exercises that will tone up those flabby arms for ever.


This exercise really helps to define your upper arms. You will need a can of tinned food in each hand.

  • Stand with your feet hip-width apart. with your arms down by your side and your knees slightly bent
  • Hold the weights (tins of food) with your palms facing out and bend your elbows slightly
  • Bend your arms further towards your shoulders keeping your elbows tucked tight into your body
  • Make sure that you keep your back straight as you lift the weights and keep these movements slow and controlled – repeat 10 to 15 times
  • You should aim for 3 sets of approximately 10 to 15 repetitions every other day


This exercise of lifting your own body weight helps to improve your overall posture and strengthens and protects your skeletal system. You can do this exercise in your own bedroom, using your bed as a work bench.

  • Stand with your back to the end of your bed and place your arms behind you
  • Place feet hip-width apart
  • Keeping your back straight and close to your bed, bend your knees to 90 degrees, placing your hands on the bed behind you, fingers pointing towards your back
  • Lower yourself down until your arms are bent at 90 degrees
  • Push your self up until your arms are straight but not locked – repeat 10 to 15 times not forgetting each time to do this exercise slowly and with control
  • You should aim for 3 sets of approximately 10 to 15 repetitions every other day
